Membership

SAISA Membership Application Important Information:

Your membership application is an important document. Before agreeing to the conditions and submitting the form you should ensure that you have read, understood, agree to be bound by and will comply with all Ice Skating Australia (ISA) policies and South Australian Ice Skating Association Inc (SAISA) policies and procedures.

It is your responsibility to be familiar with these policies, and a breach of these policies could result in action being taken against you, as outlined in the complaints or disciplinary procedures for the respective policy.
 

 


Application for Membership or Affiliation:


All applications for membership or affiliation must be made via the current year's SAISA Membership Application Form and must include:

  • Full particulars of name, address and contact details of the applicant

  • Any other information as prescribed by By-Laws or required by the Board

  • The appropriate membership fee paid

  • For affiliation membership, the above requirements and the addition of:

    • ​A copy of current Constitution

    • A copy of the most recent register of members
       

​​Late renewal fees are from 1 April (this does not apply to new SAISA Membership applicants)

All applications submitted are subject to approval by the SAISA Board. Completed applications with payment via the SAISA Membership Jotform do not guarantee acceptance. In the event that an application is declined, the accompanying fee will be refunded.

A current membership List will be made available with members name, SAISA membership number and POA number for consented members.

 


Categories and Types of Membership:

  • Categories:

    • ​Senior Members - h​ave reached the age of 18

    • Junior Members - under the age of 18

    • Associate Members

    • Honorary Life Members
       

  • ​Types:

    • ​ISA Skater Membership:

      • ​Skaters competing and testing in IJS Singles, Pairs, Ice Dance or Solo Ice Dance.

      • Skaters competing in Synchronized Skating or Theatre on Ice.

    • ​Recreational Skater:

      • ​Skaters not competing or testing.

    • ​Aussie Skater:

      • ​Registered in the Aussie Skate learn-to-skate program and competing in SAISA or other Interstate-level competitions.

    • ​Non-skating:

      • ​Parents, officials, team managers, committee executives, coaches

    • ​Honorary Life:

      • ​SAISA Honorary Life Members

    • ​Affiliated Club:

      • ​Membership application for Affiliated clubs to SAISA (AEFSC, SBFSC, SASISC)
